Description An account of the resource In January 2009, the Irish Hospice Foundation invited the public to take part in its newly established Forum on End-of-Life in Ireland by making submissions on the issues they believed to be most important in relation to death, dying, bereavement and end-of-life. From January to September 2009 The forum, which was officially launched in March 2009, engaged with a wide range of sectors of Irish society to develop insight into how to address all the challenges related to of dying, death and bereavement in Ireland. A public call for submissions from individuals and organisations was made between January 9th and February 20th with the aim of using these submissions to inform the programme of the Forum. These submissions also informed the publication ‘Perspectives on end-of-life; Report of the Forum 2009’ which was published in early 2010.
