Abstract
A report on the seminar, End-of-Life Care for Older People in Acute and Long-Stay Care Settings in Ireland.
The Seminar took place on April 17, 2008 in Croke Park Seminar Centre, Dublin.
ItI attracted over 100 delegates from across the statutory, voluntary and private sectors.
Delegates included policy-makers in the fields of health and in particular in the area of palliative care; planners and providers of services for older people; planners and
providers of health at a national and regional level; older people, representatives of older people and carers; and researchers with an interest in ageing, service planning
and quality of life issues.
