Description

First launched by Mary Redmond in 1993, Ireland's Biggest Coffee Morning invited hospice supporters to gather family, friends and colleagues to enjoy a cup of Bewley’s coffee and support their local hospice services. Ireland's Biggest Coffee Morning, managed centrally by the Irish Hospice Foundation generated funds for local hospices with funds raised locally staying local.

Ireland’s Biggest Coffee Morning grew to become the main annual fundraiser for hospice services nationwide. Since 1993 Bewley’s Ireland have been the partner for Irelands Biggest Coffee Morning providing coffee free of charge for the annual event. Participants collect donations at their coffee mornings with proceeds going to local hospice services. The motto of Ireland's Biggest Coffee Morning is 'What is raised locally STAYS locally'.

From 1993 to 2016 Ireland's Biggest Coffee Morning raised 35 million for hospice services.
